In 1976, a press article (unreferenced newspaper) described the "Artistic Safari" devised by Mon De Rijck, with the help of the Tervuren Museum, to enliven the Château Malou gallery in Woluwe: a black curtain, a terracotta colonial helmet, the gloom of a mock jungle, lianas, vaults of green plants, animal silhouettes and chirping sounds. Visitors are invited "to hunt for the paintings, drawings and prints they would like to take home".

1976 - Le Soir: «Il safari artistico del Castello di Malou»

G.: "Since it is said that people get bored at art exhibitions, the Château Malou artwork lending gallery has just devised a hanging formula that some will find original: an artistic safari." The visitor becomes an "art hunter", greeted by a few African animals borrowed from the Tervuren Museum, a mini-jungle at the entrance and a soundscape of roaring beasts and chirping birds.
