La sorella di Carl · Stilista, stilista di moda e costumista
Dopo un anno all'Accademia di Anversa, seguito da un corso triennale di fashion design all'Institut Saint-Luc di Bruxelles e due anni all'Accademia Nebeling di Bruxelles, Joan De Rijck è stata assunta da diverse aziende belghe come stilista: ricerca di tendenze, design di modelli, ricerca di gamme cromatiche e follow-up della produzione. Nel 1998, ha vinto il «premio del pubblico» del concorso per stilisti ModoBruxellae. Ha sviluppato il suo marchio «joan de rijk», una collezione di accessori in maglia per donne, uomini e bambini. Nel 2015, ha aperto Les Brusseloises, una boutique dedicata al design belga, insieme a suo fratello Carl De Moncharline, nel quartiere Sablon di Bruxelles.
