1975 - «Al Castello di Malou: Successo per il Truc-Troc»

A clipping hand-dated 30 June 1975 (unreferenced newspaper): "As we recently announced, the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert artwork lending gallery is organising until 30 August an artistic event revolving around the personality of 200 contemporary Belgian artists: the Truc-Troc."

The article sums up the originality of the formula: "200 works of very high quality are exchanged for 200 objects. In a word, the public offers an object to the artist in exchange for his work and, if the artist agrees, the work is exchanged for good."

"The success of this formula has exceeded all the organisers' expectations. The quality of the exhibition is no doubt partly responsible." And the journalist adds: "Since 1 June, the public has been using its imagination." Practical reminder: until 31 August, from 2 to 7 pm, at Château Malou, 45 chaussée de Stockel.
