Brussels Rollers · Illustration de Marc De Jong

Illustration by Marc De Jong for the first Brussels Rollers season, in 2002. Mayor Freddy Thielemans waves the starting flag while Carl De Moncharline, at the wheel, promises: "Et hop… Je passe la 4°… On va voir s'ils vont encore se marrer !" Behind them, skaters race across Brussels, from tram 81 to the Manneken-Pis on skates.
