Letters to the editor in Spécial magazine: Mrs N. Delépine, from Brussels, praises the Truc-Troc initiative at Château Malou, discussed in the article "Japan for a nude": "much more than original: it is intelligent". LE TRUC TROC From Mrs N. Delépine, Brussels. I was very surprised, and pleasantly so, to discover that from time to time Belgium does have imagination. The Château Malou initiative - the truc troc, which you discuss in your article "Japan for a nude" - is much more than original: it is intelligent. "Commerce" in the strict sense is quite secondary here, even if, let's be frank, a few artists come out ahead in the exchange... What matters, as you pointed out very well, is that the art lover - the potential buyer - takes part. The formula, which is also great fun, overturns the conformism attached to the art market and... gave you the opportunity to write a lively, catchy little article. Everyone came out a winner.
