Roller Parade
Launched in Brussels in 2002 on the Parisian parade model, the Roller Parade gathered up to 6,000 skaters every Friday evening for a free twenty-kilometre ride through the capital, escorted by a police unit on skates. From 2003 it became the Belgium Roller Parade and expanded to seven cities: Hasselt on Mondays, Namur on Tuesdays, Ghent on Wednesdays, Liège on Thursdays, Brussels on Fridays, Mons on Saturdays and Koksijde on selected Sundays, with a free roller-skating school in the Bois de la Cambre.

Fiesta Latina
Fiesta Latina was born in 2003 on Place du Châtelain in Ixelles, driven by Bruno Bayet. Carl De Moncharline supported the early editions as co-organiser, then took charge of the event from 2006: he assumed its artistic direction, production and organisation, with his teams and partners. On 19 and 20 August 2006, the festival took over Place du Châtelain for two days in Latin American colours, Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday from noon to 6 pm, with free admission. The poster for this edition, produced with the support of the Ixelles College of Mayor and Aldermen, announces the event in Spanish: "19 y 20 de agosto 2006, Plaza de Chatelain, 1050 Bruselas".

Fiesta Africa
Following the Fiesta Latina model, Fiesta Africa set up its Kin Kiesse marquee at Parking Central, between Boulevard de Waterloo and Avenue de la Toison d'Or, on 28, 29 and 30 August 2009: three days of atmosphere to the rhythms of Kinshasa, with the support of the City of Brussels. Carl De Moncharline handled its artistic direction, production and organisation, with the teams and partners listed in the acknowledgements. Olivier Kazadi and Cool JP were the masters of ceremony, alongside special guest DJ Larage, Dizzy Mandjeku and the Odemba Jazz OK All Stars, Staff des Leaders (Stars de Zaiko), Zico-Man and Afro Soukouss, Kin Percussions Ngoma wa Ngoma, Billie Kawende's Banda Tropical and African Nostalgie for Congolese rumba. A TAP Portugal contest offered two tickets to Africa. Admission: 5 euros per day, free for children under 12.

Brussels Fashion Days
Co-founded in 2012 by Carl De Moncharline, the Brussels Fashion Days were born from the will to create a major annual rendezvous dedicated to fashion, creation and Belgian know-how in the heart of the capital. The event democratised this world by combining designer shows, presentations by fashion schools, pop-up spaces, photo exhibitions and festive evenings. The archive gathers documents, photographs and videos from the first three editions of a pioneering concept that laid the foundations of an unmissable gathering of the Brussels fashion scene.

Fête des Voisins
In 2003, Carl De Moncharline adapted the Parisian initiative "Immeubles en fête" for Brussels. Born in 1999 to fight isolation by inviting neighbours to meet over a drink, it launched on Tuesday, 27 May 2003 under that first name, as part of the European Neighbours' Day. The event then became La Fête des Voisins: a symbolic city-wide day to create bonds where none existed.

Nocturne du Sablon
For the 14th edition of the Nocturnes du Sablon, on 24, 25 and 26 November 2005, Carl De Moncharline signs its artistic direction, production and organisation, with the partners of the Association Sablon, Quartier des Arts et du Commerce. As La Libre Belgique wrote in its edition of 27 October 2005, the district turns into a winter sports resort named "Sablon Altitude 1000", with a mountain chalet, a snowboard stand, alpine scenery, a podium and a winter fashion show, horse-drawn carriages and street orchestras, every evening from 7 pm to 11 pm, while shop windows celebrate the 175th anniversary of Belgium. A gala evening at the Louise Galeries opens the festivities on 24 November.

Gaming XP
Gaming XP, "for gamers by gamers", was to gather players at Brussels Expo, Hall 7, on 26 and 27 November 2005: video games, a 48-hour LAN party, card games, board games, previews, competitions, activities and free gaming. Carl De Moncharline handled its artistic direction, production and organisation, with the teams and partners listed in the acknowledgements. The event, fully produced, never took place: a snowstorm hit Brussels and paralysed traffic, making access impossible. It was cancelled for safety reasons. Because cancellation insurance had been taken out beforehand, the costs incurred were covered. This edition appears here for that very reason: it is a reminder that no production controls the weather, and that insurance cover is part of the job.

Since 1975 Truc-Troc
The Truc Troc concept - exchanging a work of art for any offer except money - was first launched in 1975 by Mon De Rijck and Charline Mahy, then abandoned after 1976. The Château Malou artwork lending gallery and the 500-5000 operation followed the same democratic patronage approach: making art accessible outside the market. Carl De Moncharline relaunched it in 2004 at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels (BOZAR): a hundred artists exhibit, visitors post their offers on Post-it notes, and each artist chooses the exchange they prefer. The free event became annual, grew beyond 300 artists and 10,000 visitors, and opened up to design from 2014.
