ENJOY YOURSELF AT THE TRUC-TROC In these rotten times, nobody knows what to invent any more to keep business going. For several months now, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert has been running the good idea of artworks for rent. The principle is simple. From a pool of works by good artists, young and less young, anyone can make their choice and, for a few hundred francs, hang an original engraving, a lithograph or even an oil painting at home. If the work is bought, the rental amount is deducted from the purchase price. It suits everyone, lender and renter alike. Well then, here is something else: the "truc troc". Instructions: go up to your attic and sort out the junk you want to get rid of. Then head to Château Malou, chaussée de Stockel, in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. Choose a graphic work that interests you. This is where the sport begins: negotiate the exchange of your junk for the lithograph or drypoint you want. Hostilities open on 14 June. The hunting season closes on 30 August.
