Marie-Claire Maison · 1992
Décor, by night
An interiors note: after new age in 1990 and futuro-sixties in 1991, the Mirano Continental turns blue for summer 1992. The club becomes a Nautilus and celebrates the ocean depths with a grandiose set, every Saturday night at 38 chaussée de Louvain in Brussels.
Context note
Marie-Claire Maison, July / August 1992. Unsigned short piece. The underwater set described is by Aldo Gigli, at the time when Jean-Pierre Mels ran the venue and Carl De Moncharline produced its nights. The original text is in French; the versions in the other languages of the site are translations.
