Plug TV | Artists and audience are at the heart of the weekly show "Plug on air" Smell the air of summer festivals Here is the essential survival kit for any good festival-goer: boots – rather than flip-flops with which your little feet can suffer in case of a generalized mosh pit –, a bob hat to avoid sunstroke, and a very tall friend to climb on their shoulders for a perfect view of the stage. "Plug on air" distills quirky information like this throughout its weekly program, thanks in particular to the segment "Flo's Good Deals." At Dour this weekend, the Plug presenter will, for example, record a sequence on how to camp as best as possible or how to act like a star at festivals. For instance, on roller skates with a wig, like I think I'm the star but I'm going to annoy everyone, laughs Florence Robbiano. We always try to add a humorous touch. Full-on crazy second-degree humor. Aside from these good deals, what exactly is "Plug on air"? It's a festival agenda, but not just that, specifies David Antoine, who presents the show alternately with Olivier Pairoux and Florence. We go to the field of various summer events, such as the Belgian BMX Battle, during which BMX riders put on a show. Not to mention the Roller Parade, the Beach Days in Esneux... For the first time, a Plug program truly leaves the studios to get some fresh air. We are there to meet artists who are present at these events, but above all to give a voice to the public, explains David Antoine. We can very well do a segment on their vacations or their way of life during the summer. It's all about interactivity. And Florence adds: So that it's their show. Following the same logic, the channel also launched a blog a few days ago specifically dedicated to "Plug on air." We put photos of the people we meet at events, explains Florence. We also announce cool activities that we won't necessarily talk about on TV. The interest is really to create a link between the viewer and us. On the program for this Saturday's show: a portrait of the group Kyo who will be at the Francofolies de Spa, a segment on DJs who are performing in Belgium this summer, an exclusive acoustic live performance by the Belgian group Ghinzu, an interview with Melanie C, ex-Spice Girls, but also Flo's good deals, street interviews... • Photo: David Antoine alternately presents "Plug on air."
