    ■ KORTRIJK From June 12, a roller parade starts in Kortrijk. Anyone who finds wheels under their shoes can participate. This is the first time that recreational inline skating is practiced in this way in the Kortrijk region. The public, aged 7 to 77, is encouraged to move and participate in sports in a relaxed way through a hip young sport, inline skating. That is the intention of the new inline skate parades. These take place in the city and in the Kortrijk region. The vzw Kangarooz thus offers the Kortrijk roller parade. Kangarooz: "It will be a recreational tour through the Kortrijk nature and surroundings. The province of West Flanders, the city of Kortrijk, Sportplus and the VLAS police zone support this initiative, together with our sponsors. We have planned four tours. It is the perfect mix for both the sporty and the recreational. The Kortrijk parade takes place every second Sunday from June to October." "The first roller parade is on June 12. From 13:30 we gather on the Grote Markt of Kortrijk. At 14:00 the 20 km tour starts, accompanied by music. Thanks to sponsors, we can offer every inline skater drinks and a piece of fruit along the way. Around 16:30 the trip is over and we are back on the Grote Markt of Kortrijk."
