Rollerblading in the city of Luxembourg for an unusual route, ordinarily reserved for motorists. The «Luxembourg city inline-skate» will take place over several months from 10 to 12 hours starting from June twelfth.
Starting from Place de Metz, participants will prepare for a circuit that will take them around the Pétrusse valley, passing over the Adolphe bridge, Place de Bruxelles, Boulevard Roosevelt, the Viaduct (Passerelle) as well as Boulevard de la Pétrusse. The «Friday night skate», for its part, will be organized on July 8 from 8 PM to 10 PM. A reception point will be set up at the meeting place with the possibility of renting rollerblades and inline-skates for free.
Sports department instructors will monitor the circuit to intervene in case of an accident. They will also be present to introduce volunteers to «inline-skates» techniques.
All participants, whether on rollerblades, skateboards, snakeboards or kickboards, must be equipped with appropriate gear, which is one of the conditions required to join the event.
