Ecology at the Mirano
A column on the summer 1992 theme at the Mirano Continental: the sea and the defence of its fauna and flora. The club dives "twenty thousand leagues under the sea" with a 3D set, partners with a non-profit defending large marine mammals to fund the symbolic adoption of whales, and announces the promotion of intelligent eco-tourism and a European eco-culture.
Context note
Park-Mail, 3 July 1992. Unsigned article. The ironic text describes the summer season at the Mirano Continental at the time when Carl De Moncharline was producing its nights and Jean-Pierre Mels ran the venue; the large themed summer sets were designed by Aldo Gigli. The original text is in French; the versions in the other languages of the site are translations.
