West Flanders roller platform

The Bruges organiser is building a platform for recreational skaters across West Flanders. Kortrijk, Middelkerke and Ostend are also taking part this summer. Since last year, a Rollerparade has also been organised in Kortrijk. This year it runs from June to October, every second Sunday of the month. The caravan skates through the nature and surroundings of Kortrijk. Several nice routes (20 km) have been mapped out in Kortrijk: to be enjoyed on Sundays 9 July and 13 August. Gathering around 1.30 pm and sharp departure at 2 pm from Kortrijk's Grote Markt. All ages are welcome and participation is free. And in July and August, a Rollerparade is also planned every Sunday evening in Ostend or Middelkerke. One more tip: don't forget your protective gear! And now... the serious stuff! In Ostend, alongside all that recreational action, there is also a real skate competition: from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 August, the Grote Prijs van Vlaanderen Inline Skating takes place, organised by the Zwaantjes Roller Club.
