Press Kit: “Mirano 80, the Space of a Dream”

The press kit for the film “Mirano 80, l'espace d'un rêve”, by Luc Jabon and Thomas Purcaro Decaro, produced by Image Création in co-production with RTBF and Proximus, can be browsed here page by page. The film poster is illustrated by Aldo Gigli.

Twenty-three pages: synopsis, contextualisation signed by producer Martine Barbé, the directors' statement of intent, the list of the film's protagonists (including Aldo Gigli, artistic director), biographies of the directors and of the production company, technical credits and contacts. Paul Sterck's private archives, digitised photographs, videos and posters, formed the founding material for the script.

The document also tells the starting point: a band of friends already active at Le Canotier, a former neighbourhood cinema in Saint-Josse, and the opening of the Mirano Continental on 25 March 1981.
