    1976 - "Be art hunters"

In December 1976, an article signed A.V. (unreferenced newspaper) invited its readers: "Be art hunters". It profiles Mon De Rijck, "director-animator of the artwork lending gallery at Château Malou", a sculptor born in Ninove, former director of the National Foundry, who set up his own foundry "placed at artists' disposal", and recalls his previous happenings: the Truc-Troc, "5.000 - 5.000", the "Labyrinth of Mirrors" and "L'anti-antipeinture".

For the "Artistic Safari", made with the collaboration of the Central Africa Museum, the visitor, "decked out in a red terracotta explorer's helmet", plunges into the bush and tropical forest before emerging onto "the finest prey": some two hundred works (drawings, engravings, lithographs, silkscreens, oils) by some two hundred artists, none exceeding 7,000 F - Arty, Delcol, De Taye, De Villers, Dubray, Gheyssen, Grosemans, Lambillotte, Lipit, Mahy, Marti, Mondry, Perin, Rolet, Soos, Strebelle, Tarasovici, Toledo, Van Gindertael, Verheyden, Vinche, Zimmerman, "our list being given merely as bait". The photo shows Mon De Rijck, in explorer's outfit, inviting visitors to the Château Malou "safari".
