The barge years - Photo album: along the water (late 70s, early 80s)

From the late 70s to the early 80s, Mon De Rijck's barge carried on its life as a home, studio and floating gallery on the canals. This album gathers atmosphere photographs taken along the water: the hull moored beneath the trees, the quays, the bridges passed under, the banks at sunset.

Family life on board is there too: Kim, Maud, Joan and Carl posing in front of the barge, Mon De Rijck with his friend Manette Spiegels and the children on deck. A way of living art and freedom every day, inherited from the spirit of the late sixties.
