Truc-Troc: 4th edition (aftermovie)
On 11 January 2008, Bozar (Centre for Fine Arts) hosted the 4th edition of Truc Troc, the exhibition where art is not bought but exchanged. Built around the principle of barter, the event brought together around one hundred established and emerging artists, inviting the public to propose original exchanges in return for artworks. Born in 1975 in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert from the idea of sculptor Mon De Rijck and painter Charline Mahy, the concept was relaunched in 2004 at Bozar by their son Carl De Moncharline, giving rise to a unique artistic rendezvous blending creativity, encounters and innovation in the heart of Brussels.
