Covered by Le Soir during the Saturday, 4 September 2010 edition, this report follows the Balloon's Day Parade, an event initiated by Carl De Moncharline. Some 20,000 spectators gathered in the streets of Brussels alongside eight marching bands and more than 500 musicians. The parade featured iconic giant balloons including Papa Smurf, Betty Boop and Kid Paddle's Blork, the major new addition that year.
