Finally, summer temperatures! A look at the weekend's activities
BRUSSELS ∇ For the next few days, the weather forecast is for full sun. And that's great news: music, sports, or visits, there's something for everyone in the activities planned in Brussels.
► Cambre Music Festival 2004. Every Sunday until July 1st, free concerts are held in the Bois de la Cambre. The program includes a classical repertoire with a harp and vocal duo at 11:30 am and jazz with Marc Lelangue at 3 pm. Meet on the English lawn. Information at [coordonnées retirées].
► Balle Pelote at the Grand-Place. This Sunday, the top 4 N1 balle pelote teams will participate in the Grand Prix of the City of Brussels. An opportunity to discover a sport during a major competition in an exceptional setting.
► Bruxellons at Karreveld. Throughout the summer, you can discover 7 shows and 2 exhibitions at Karreveld Castle. This Saturday, an open-air show at 9 pm with 'Les palmes de M. Schutz'. Book by phone at [coordonnées retirées] or online: http://www.bruxellons.com.
► Brussels and its canals. Embark aboard the Gueuse for a tour of the Molenbeek Lock, the bridges, and the seaport. Boarding at Quai Béco, Avenue du Port.
► Brussels by night... by bike. This Saturday, Pro Vélo is organizing a ride through the capital. Departure from the Maison des Cyclistes, at 15 rue de Londres, in 1050 Ixelles. Reservations at [coordonnées retirées].
► Historic parks in Brussels. Every weekend, a park is featured. These parks and gardens are historical monuments in their own right. This time, it's the turn of the Parc du Cinquantenaire. Meet under the Arcade, Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 2 pm.
► Speculoos Spaces. Free street shows are organized all summer. This Saturday, on the Place de la Monnaie, you can watch a street theater performance. M. Plume will bounce on his stilts at 3 pm. The Gag Man will show us his magic suitcase at 4 pm and the show will end at 5 pm with a juggling disco comedy by Bertrand Roure.
► Pirate weekends. All summer, Bruparck (Heysel) organizes themed weekends. This Saturday and Sunday, children can participate in a giant treasure hunt. More information at [coordonnées retirées].
Like yesterday's Roller Parade, put on your roller skates every Friday from 7 pm and set off for a long ride of about twenty kilometers through the streets of Brussels.
