BRUSSELS – Normally, the kick-off for the first 'Belgium Rollers' of the season was supposed to be given on Friday evening at Poelaertplein. However, bad weather threw a spanner in the works.
For several years now, 'inline skaters' have been meeting every Friday evening during the summer months at the Palace of Justice in Brussels. They then set off in a group for a 20-kilometer course through the capital. If the weather is good, the 2005 season will kick off on Friday at 8 PM.
Similar tours are also organized in four other Belgian cities. Only in Brussels does the season last four months.
