A stage, paper lanterns, sun-drenched food and, of course, caipirinhas and mojitos. Everything, absolutely everything, will taste of escape. The senses will be wide awake. From beginners' classes to the Latin dance contest, the place du Châtelain will vibrate this Saturday 23 August to the wild rhythm of salsa. The bands Raices Cubanas and Proyeccion Latina will provide the Latin mood, playing both classics and their own compositions. More than ever, this free event turns the place du Châtelain into a place open and accessible to everyone, from noon to midnight. PROGRAMME: 12:00 Doors open 12:00 - 15:30 Entertainment, registration for the salsa contest Afternoon: Raices Cubanas concert (in two parts) 19:30 - 21:00 Salsa contest Evening: Proyeccion Latina concert (in two parts) and final of the salsa contest Further activities and entertainment with Latin DJs are also planned.
