Behind the events lay the day-to-day work: a desk covered in files, papers and rolls of plans, a constantly ringing telephone, and Mon De Rijck preparing each Château Malou happening, from the Truc-Troc to the art safari.

He is also seen among the rooms, sitting amid the framed works of the lending gallery, in the moments before or after the exhibitions and performances.
