Olivier Gosseries

Olivier Gosseries is an iconic figure of Belgian clubbing, born in 1969 in Brussels. He began DJing in 1986 alongside his mentor Poltergeist, blending Funk, mainstream dance and the first House tracks coming from the USA. He then played in every major Belgian and European nightclub: De Schakel, Transatlantik, Vaudeville, Café d'Anvers, and of course Who's Who's Land, where he was resident DJ from 1996 to 1999. In 1996 he became artistic director of the Noise Traxx label with his accomplice Junior Jack (known for « Stupid Disco »), and racked up successes on the European dance charts, including the French number-one hit « Clap Your Hands ». From 2007 he slowed down his sets a little to devote himself to raising his three children (two daughters and one son) and to developing his Noisy Boys brand (parties and clothing). He made his comeback in 2013, notably with a set in New York for the Belgian National Day, and then became resident at the Vamos club in Brussels, a pioneer of the « afternoon dancing » concept. Olivier Gosseries is still active today: he alternates a residency in a Brussels club, hosts a weekly Saturday-night show on Nostalgie Belgium called C'est Party!, where he revisits 1980s and 1990s dance music, and continues to travel and DJ abroad. In 2021 he released a tribute medley to Who's Who's Land entitled « The Who's WHO'S LAND Medley ». His only regret? Never having played in the United Kingdom, which he intends to put right soon.
