Roller Parade 2004. What do the saxophone, bakelite and roller-skates have in common? They're all Belgian inventions, the latter reputedly thought up by an engineer from Huy almost 250 years ago. Not that you need any excuse to join this giant parade, which will career through the streets of Brussels every Friday evening throughout the summer. The rallying point in on Place Poelaert at 19.00, and beginners can practice at the Bois de la Cambre every weekend from 11.00 to 17.00.
