From the roller parade to the lawn parties If I were you, I would go to the roller parade every Friday evening and take the roller-skating lessons I give with great pleasure every Sunday afternoon at the Bois de la Cambre. I would follow up with the second event of the summer: the Gazon parties at Mont des Arts. You find a bit of a Southern atmosphere there, as it was during its first opening. All of Brussels gathered there. I appreciate this mixed atmosphere between the preppy and the deep grunge. Originally, it was a free party attended by Drum & Bass fans and others with dreadlocks, but the image evolved to become a social phenomenon, especially for preppies looking for a thrill in an unconventional setting. This confrontation of different audiences is enriching. On the exhibition side, I would go see the one at the Foundation for Architecture dedicated to 20th-century furniture.
