The "Brussels Rollers", in which 30,000 people participated in 2002, has become the "Belgium Rollers" this summer. Seven cities are participating, including Liège, where nine rides will be organized every Thursday in July and August. The first will take place this July 3 (welcome at Place Saint-Lambert at 8:00 p.m. and departure at 9:00 p.m.). The route consists of two 7.5-kilometer loops (Boulevards de la Sauvenière and d'Avroy, Pont de Fragnée, Places Saint-Paul, Cathédrale, du 20-Août). Participation is free. Three hundred pairs of inline skates and protective gear (mandatory for children, recommended for adults) will be available for rent. Warning: the ride will be canceled if it rains or threatens to rain. Information on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. at 0900-24.064 or send an SMS with the code FRBR to 3352.
