Dear Brussels women, dear Brussels men, With the summer holidays, Brussels is transforming and taking on an unprecedented appearance a few years ago. From now on, it is no longer an administrative fabric at rest, but a Brussels that moves for the happiness of citizens who do not always have the leisure to «escape»; or for those who take their holidays outside tourist periods. This rich array of convivial activities has resulted in Brussels becoming -it too- a land of holidays. I cite as proof the very diverse joys of our local coast of Brussels Les Bains, the Roller Parade, the Brussels Marathon, the parade of the biggest marching band in the world, the Tintin festival, the Eu'ritmix festival, not forgetting the great classic that is the Midi Fair. There is something for everyone and I invite you to refer to the complete inventory present in this edition to compose your personal program. Whether in Brussels or elsewhere, I wish you all very good holidays! Dear people of Brussels, During the summer, Brussels puts on a light summer dress. A cheerfully colored outfit that suits her perfectly and was unseen for a few years. Brussels no longer knows a (administrative) summer recess but becomes a bustling and refreshing city. Especially for its own residents who do not always have the desire, time or means to pack their bags. Or for those who prefer to take their holidays outside the busy holiday period. The rich summer offer ensures that our city is also a real holiday destination. I mention the sun and sand of Brussels Bad, the wheels of the Roller Parade, the muscles of the Brussels Marathon, the parade of the largest fanfare in the world, the Kuifjesfestival, Eu'ritmix and of course the classic: the fair.
