Mons They hit the road on their roller skates

How many were there at the start of this first edition in Mons of the Belgium Roller Tour? Only a few dozen, but highly motivated to cover the twenty-kilometre circuit through the villages of the Mons municipality and along the smooth boulevards. The road surface, which is not always ideal even for pedestrians, did not make things easy for beginners embarking on this kind of experience for the first time. The Mons police, including the famous "roller's cops", were part of the event as much for fun as for the safety of the participants.
