Two thousand people took part in the Rollerparade held on Friday, from 8 p.m. to midnight, in the streets of the capital. No serious incidents were reported. Police recorded 6 minor injuries resulting from falls. They were treated on site by Red Cross services.
"Fifteen roller-cops accompanied the participants throughout the duration of the event," announced Christian De Coninck, the police spokesperson. "They were escorted by about fifteen other police officers travelling by bicycle, moped, motorcycle, and car."
