Binche. Individuals broke into the town hall during the night from Thursday to Friday, passing through the neighboring municipal theater. They took ALE cheques, 4,000 euros, and a DVD player. However, no administrative documents were stolen. (F.Ds.) Charleroi. A young African immigrant was held captive for several hours by a drug dealer in a dingy room in the lower town this Wednesday. He was also burned on the lip with a cigarette before receiving a blow to the back of the neck with a bottle. The dealer suspected a prostitute of stealing money from him and was trying to force his victim to testify in his favor. On Thursday, following an altercation between the prostitute and the dealer, the police intervened and freed the young man. Both were brought before the Charleroi Prosecutor's Office. (F.Ds.) Mons. Due to the risk of rain, the Roller Parade this Saturday, August 30, the last one of the Belgium Roller, is canceled.
