'Belgium Rollers' organize weekly marathon

'Belgium Rollers' hold weekly marathon This summer, the 'Belgium Rollers' are holding a weekly roller parade in Ostend. The city is supporting the first edition of the parades, which take place throughout the entire area of the seaside town. "Previously, parades were already organized in Hasselt and Koksijde, but this summer Ostend wants to welcome sports enthusiasts weekly," explained sports alderwoman Nancy Bourgoignie at the start of the first parade, which was attended by twenty skaters. The parades always start at 8 PM on Sint-Petrus en Paulusplein and the arrival is scheduled on the Zeedijk. There are still roller parades on July 20 and 27 and on August 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
