Free braking lesson with new series of roller parades through Hasselt

Starting from June 28, you can skate through Hasselt again every Monday evening. This year, starting from July 5, you can also take a free braking lesson. For this, you need to go to the Kolonel Dusartplein at 6 PM. An experienced instructor will teach you various braking techniques. Anyone who wants to discover the city in an alternative, sporty, and playful way can join. The only condition is that you must be able to skate. Children must wear wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads, and a helmet. For adults, this is not an unnecessary luxury either. The tour is 17 km long and is definitely not a competition. Since the last stage of the tour takes place in the dark, it is recommended to attach (bicycle) lights to your clothing or inline skates. The roller tour starts at the Kolonel Dusartplein. Gathering is at 7 PM, and the roller parade starts promptly at 8 PM. Under the guidance of the rollercops - police officers on wheels - you get the opportunity to skate in the middle of the street.
