Château Malou: Uitleengalerij, Truc-Troc, Art safari en Operatie 500-5000, Labyrint van spiegels
Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, 1975-1977: in het hart van het kasteel, de uitleengalerij voor kunstwerken, die Mon De Rijck in de schijnwerpers hield door spraakmakende evenementen, van de eerste Truc-Troc als een «wereldprimeur» en de kunstsafari die het kasteel in een jungle veranderde tot Operatie 500-5000, en vervolgens tot de Miroir Labyrinthe tentoonstelling in 1977.

1976 - «Artistieke Safari» op Château Malou
Om de leengalerie in de schijnwerpers te plaatsen, veranderde Mon De Rijck het kasteel in een jungle: een terracotta koloniale helm, lianen, dieren uit het Tervuren Museum en een «kunstjacht». Alle Art Safari pers, van het knipsel uit 1976 tot The Bulletin's «Cover Story».

1975-1976 - Operatie 500-5000
Among the actions run from Château Malou, the artwork lending gallery launched "Operation 500-5000": an exhibition-event bringing together works priced between 500 and 5,000 Belgian francs, to prove that buying a work of art was within everyone's reach.

1977 - Mon De Rijck in zijn « Miroir Labyrinthe » tentoonstelling in Château Malou, tussen spiegels en hangende schilderijen
In 1977, Mon De Rijck presented an exhibition of works at Château Malou conceived as a pathway: "Miroir Labyrinthe". Mirrors and hanging paintings punctuated the installation, extending the playful experiments run from the artwork lending gallery and inviting visitors to lose themselves and be reflected in a maze of images.

1976-1977 - Château Malou, van dag tot dag
Behind the events lay the day-to-day work: a desk covered in files, papers and rolls of plans, a constantly ringing telephone, and Mon De Rijck preparing each Château Malou happening, from the Truc-Troc to the art safari.
